Requirements

  • 3 years of experience as an executive assistant supporting senior levels in the organization.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook with excellent keyboarding skills, and the ability to process a high volume of dictation and transcription.
  • Familiarity with legal billing, timekeeping, and document management software systems.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational, planning, problem-solving, administrative, and analytical skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple complex and concurrent tasks involving several stakeholders.
  • Superior detail orientation and time management skills.
  • Absolute discretion.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience supporting attorneys in either private practice or corporate environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • Experience with TABS billing software and NetDocs document management system.

Responsibilities

  • Manage documents in both electronic and paper format.
  • Manage calendar and organize daily schedule of attorney.
  • Screen and manage calls.
  • Coordinate onsite and offsite meetings.
  • Manage travel arrangements for attorney.
  • Develop documents and presentations.
  • Ensure accurate file management.
  • Enter time and billing information.
  • Look for new methods and technology to increase attorney efficiency.
