About the position
The Department of Biology within the School of Science at Indiana University Indianapolis (IU Indy) invites applications for a lecturer position to begin August 1, 2025. Responsibilities
- Teaching Immunology and Microbiology as the primary focus.
- Possibly teaching other introductory Biology course lectures.
- Conducting online and/or in-person lab courses.
- Managing a typical one-semester teaching load of 11-12 credit hours each semester.
- Participating in summer teaching opportunities for additional compensation.
Requirements
- A PhD in Biology or relevant health-related discipline is required.
- Experience teaching immunology and microbiology courses is required.
- A record of quality teaching.
- An interest in working with a diverse student population.
