Mass Communication - Full-Time, Non-Tenure-Track Lecturer
About The Position
The position calls for teaching at the undergraduate level. Candidates should have strong evidence of teaching effectiveness in the area of public speaking and communications. Preferred candidates will have experience in online instruction. College/Department Overview: The College of Liberal Arts currently has 113 full-time and 152 part-time faculty in 8 academic departments. The College serves the University's Core Curriculum programs and enrolls more than 2,850 undergraduate students and more than 300 graduate students in 34 undergraduate and 17 graduate majors. Requirements
- Master’s degree in communication required.
- A minimum of five years teaching experience at the collegiate level in communication required.
- Candidates should have expertise in high-impact teaching practices and effective teaching technologies.
Nice To Haves
- Online teaching experience at the collegiate level preferred.
Responsibilities
- Responsibilities include teaching five classes per semester (fall and spring), primarily in speech classes.
- Service to the department is required.
