The School of Education at Baylor University is seeking two full-time lecturers or senior lecturers for its online learning programs, specifically for the EdD in Learning and Organizational Change (LOC). These positions are non-tenure track and will involve teaching and mentoring graduate students in a dynamic online environment. The EdD-LOC program has received national recognition, being named the Carnegie Project for the Education Doctorate (CPED) Program of the Year in 2022 and ranked fourth nationally by Fortune Magazine. This program caters to a diverse group of graduate students, who come from various backgrounds and professions, and is designed for working professionals, allowing them to complete their studies while managing their careers. The program operates on a trimester basis, with students typically completing two courses per trimester and graduating within 36 months. The curriculum includes a research-intensive dissertation that addresses real-world problems, and courses are structured to foster a strong sense of community and collaboration among students. Faculty members are expected to lead weekly synchronous sessions and prepare asynchronous course materials, ensuring that students receive comprehensive support throughout their educational journey. Additionally, faculty will participate in on-campus immersion experiences in Waco, enhancing the learning experience for students. The School of Education prides itself on maintaining high academic standards while providing the necessary support for student success. Faculty members will work collaboratively as a team, regularly meeting to discuss student progress and program improvements. This role not only involves teaching but also includes responsibilities such as serving as dissertation advisors and participating in admission reviews. The anticipated start date for this position is April 29, 2025, and the salary range is between $95,000 and $115,000, depending on qualifications and experience.
