The University of Nevada, Las Vegas invites applications for Lecturer, School of Nursing. ROLE of the POSITION This is an opening for a 3 trimester, non-tenure track, Lecturer within the School of Nursing. This position is primarily dedicated to clinical instruction and supervision of undergraduate students. Primary responsibilities of an appointment are to (1) teach nursing courses consistent with area of expertise; (2) collaborate with other faculty in course development; (3) use teaching resources, such as WebCampus/Canvas to foster learning; (4) provide student supervision; (5) participate in department, university, professional and community service activities. Classes in the School of Nursing are offered year-round, using a trimester sequence. PROFILE of the DEPARTMENT/COLLEGE The School of Nursing at UNLV offers CCNE-accredited programs leading to a BSN, MS (nurse practitioner and nurse educator tracks), DNP, and PhD (Educator and Interprofessional Health concentrations and DNP to PhD).
