About The Position

The University of Nevada, Las Vegas invites applications for Lecturer, School of Nursing. This is an opening for a 3 trimester, non-tenure track, Lecturer within the School of Nursing. This position is primarily dedicated to clinical instruction and supervision of undergraduate students. Primary responsibilities of an appointment are to (1) teach nursing courses consistent with area of expertise; (2) collaborate with other faculty in course development; (3) use teaching resources, such as WebCampus/Canvas to foster learning; (4) provide student supervision; (5) participate in department, university, professional and community service activities. Classes in the School of Nursing are offered year-round, using a trimester sequence.

Requirements

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) from an accredited college or university
• Encumbered Nevada Registered Nurse License or ability to obtain prior to employment
• Credentials must be obtained prior to the start date
