About The Position

The Theatre Arts at CWU is accepting applications to fill current and future full-time, part-time, quarterly and annual appointment lecturer positions to teach classes in the courses/subject areas listed below. This list is not all inclusive: Acting, directing, vocal, movement, choreography, dance, and other related courses/subject areas that may become available within the department. This posting will fill positions at the Ellensburg campus.

Requirements

• MA degree in Theatre or related field.

Nice To Haves

• MFA in theatre or related field.
• Experience teaching at the college level.
• Demonstrated commitment to Anti-racist practices in the classroom and theatre industry.

Responsibilities

• Teach classes in Theatre Arts including acting, directing, vocal, movement, choreography, and dance.
• Develop and implement course materials and syllabi.
• Engage in anti-racist practices in the classroom and theatre industry.

• Minimum remuneration for the non-tenure-track titles for the 2025-2026 academic year.
