About The Position

The Humboldt Department of Economics provides students with a rigorous core combined with applications that range from development and international trade to the environment, natural resources, sustainability, and clean energy. The faculty in Economics are committed to innovative and effective learning-centered approaches in our classes and we have a culture of close pedagogical collaboration. We have an interdisciplinary program and most of our classes include a mix of economics majors, majors in several other disciplines, and general education students.

Requirements

• Graduate degree or ABD in Economics or related discipline with coursework in economics for lower division.
• A conferred PhD in Economics and two or more years of relevant successful college or university level teaching experience is preferred for lower division.
• A conferred PhD or ABD in Economics and a demonstrated record of teaching excellence for upper division.
• Two or more years of relevant successful college or university level teaching experience is preferred for upper division.

Responsibilities
