About The Position

The Health Sciences department at CWU is accepting applications to fill current and future full-time, part-time, quarterly and annual appointment lecturer positions to teach classes and laboratories in the courses/subject areas listed below. This list is not all inclusive: other courses/subject areas may become available within the department. The courses include Exercise Science, Biomechanics, Fitness Testing, Exercise Prescription, Sport Mechanics, Nutrition and Food Science, Paramedics/EMS, Clinical Physiology, Public Health, and other courses as needed.

Requirements

• Master's Degree and/or required specialized certifications where appropriate.

Responsibilities

• Teach classes and laboratories in the Health Sciences department.
• Cover various subject areas including Exercise Science, Nutrition, Paramedics/EMS, Clinical Physiology, and Public Health.

Benefits

• Pay based on the terms and conditions of the Collective Bargaining Agreement.
• Minimum remuneration for the non-tenure-track titles for the 2025-2026 academic year will be as follows: Lecturer: $1,188 per workload unit for faculty with terminal degrees; $950 per workload unit for faculty without terminal degrees; Senior Lecturer: $1,307 per workload unit for faculty with terminal degrees; $1,044 per workload unit for faculty without terminal degrees.
