About The Position

The Department of Political Science seeks qualified instructors to teach courses in our online Master's in Public Administration (MPA) program. We are especially interested in hiring candidates who could teach "Special Topics" courses that would fit into the program's two concentrations in Public Management and Emergency Management. Depending on student demand and instructor qualifications, we could have additional opportunities to teach upper-division undergraduate courses.

Requirements

  • Ph.D. in political science, public administration, public affairs, or related fields.
  • Master's degree in public administration and have significant professional experience.
  • Candidates that are ABD in a relevant Ph.D. program.

Nice To Haves

  • Teaching experience, especially in online teaching
