About The Position

The Department of Political Science at Midwestern State University invites applications for a full-time 9- month non-tenure-track Lecturer to begin Spring 2026. As a faculty member in the Department of Political Science you will be expected to: Teach 12 credit hours/4 courses of American national government and Texas government each semester. Communicate and meet with students. Assist with departmental needs. Maintain a regular presence on campus.

Requirements

• MA in Political Science
• Demonstrated teaching effectiveness.
• Requires the ability to maintain positive working relationships with students, faculty, staff, and the community.

• Personal cell phone usage may be required to complete position duties, including multi-function authentication requirements.
