About The Position

The primary responsibilities for this position include teaching chemical engineering courses, supporting research program, student advising, mentoring and recruitment, conducting scholarly activities, and all other activities required for a successful academic career. Other responsibilities include, but are not limited to, engaging in accreditation procedures, program assessment, and service to the department, College, and University as needed. This is a 12-month, non-tenure-track faculty position. Primary Function of Organizational Unit North Carolina A & T State University is a public land grant high research activity institution that is committed to dedicated teaching and learning, scholarly and creative research, and effective engagement and public service. On the Graduate level, the College has 8 Masters of Science Degree programs, and 5 Doctoral programs. The 5 research cluster areas of the College of Engineering (COE) are Autonomous Systems, Cybersecurity and Resilience, Energy and Sustainability, Healthcare Applications and Complex Systems and Networks. The Department of Chemical, Biological & Bioengineering (CBBE) is responsible for implementing and assessing its nationally ranked and accredited programs in Chemical Engineering, Biological Engineering, and Bioengineering. The department offers or will offer BS, MS, and PhD programs. The CBBE department has approximately 400 undergraduate students and graduate students. Requirements

  • Lecturer: B.S. and M.S. in Chemical Engineering
  • Teaching Assistant Professor: B.S. in Chemical Engineering and Ph.D. in a related field
