About The Position

The Committee on Degrees in Social Studies at Harvard College is seeking full-time or part-time lecturers to teach in its interdisciplinary honors program. The role involves teaching courses on social theory and advising students on their academic inquiries, including senior honors theses. The position is designed for candidates with a strong background in social sciences, history, or philosophy, particularly those who can teach Social Studies 10 and Social Studies 98s, focusing on social scientific or historical topics.

Requirements

  • Doctorate in the Social Sciences, History, or Philosophy required by the time the appointment begins.
  • Demonstrated excellence in teaching and advising undergraduate students is desirable.
  • Previous experience as instructor of record is preferred.

Responsibilities
