Attention: The College of Integrated Studies at the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater at Rock County seeks multiple mathematics Lecturers for the 2026 fall semester (Lecturer, TL020). These will be fixed-term appointments. Reappointments for subsequent terms is dependent upon the needs of the University, funding, staffing requirements, enrollment, and external forces. Courses that are to be taught will include: MAT 90 – Basic Mathematics MAT 91 and MAT 95 – Elementary Algebra MAT 103 – Beginning and Intermediate Algebra MAT 108 – Quantitative Reasoning MAT 110 – College Algebra MAT 113 – Trigonometry MAT 215 – Mathematics for Teachers I MAT 216 – Mathematics for Teachers II MAT 210 – Topics in Finite Mathematics MAT 221 – Calculus and Analytic Geometry I RESPONSIBILITIES: The selected candidate, in addition to teaching responsibilities, will hold appropriate office hours, attend orientation activities, and perform required course administration. All students, faculty, and staff are required to ensure their materials are digitally accessible and utilize standard technology platforms supported by UW-Whitewater. Examples include, but are not limited to, Navigate, Canvas, and Microsoft Office applications – including Outlook, which is essential for university email communications and scheduling. DEPARTMENT INFORMATION: The Department of Integrated Studies is the singular department within the College of Integrated Studies located on the Rock County campus of the University of Wisconsin – Whitewater in Janesville, Wisconsin. Started in 1966, the campus has approximately 850 students and offers courses in many disciplines including natural sciences, social sciences, humanities, and fine arts.
