This is an evergreen Lecturer Pool for the College of Business at UCCS. Applications will be reviewed on a semester-by-semester basis as business needs arise. The University of Colorado Colorado Springs (UCCS) is a premier educational institution that prides itself on academic excellence, research, and community engagement and is actively seeking Lecturer - Information Systems & Cybersecurity Management (pool) to join our team!   • Provides instruction to undergraduate/graduate students both in-person and online courses.
  • Maintains, develop and schedules student learning experiences to achieve desired learning outcomes.
  • Plans, develops, and implements evaluation tools to assess student process towards course learning objectives.
  • Be familiar with learning management systems, such as Canvas.
  • Other duties as determined by the College of Business.
  • Completed Master's degree in business administration, information systems, cybersecurity management, information security, computer science or a closely related field is required.
  • 18 credits of graduate coursework related to the field of instruction is required.
  • At least one year of practice experience in information systems, cybersecurity management or a closely related field is required.
  • A terminal degree (e.g. PhD, DBA, JD) is preferred.
  • Prior and relevant teaching experience is preferred.
  • Relevant industry experience that includes current engagement in professional activities is preferred.
  • Eligible to accrue sick leave at 0.034 hours of sick leave per hour worked.
