The Department of Biology and Neuroscience Program at Brandeis University seeks an instructor for NBIO 140B, Principles of Neuroscience (4 credits) for the Fall 2024 semester. This course is offered annually and is required for Neuroscience majors. It is also often taken by students majoring in Biology and Health: Science, Society, and Policy as well as pre-medical students. Topics covered by this class include resting potentials, action potentials, synaptic transmission, sensory systems, motor systems, learning, neural circuits underlying behavior, neurological diseases, and mental illness.
