The Department of Environmental Studies and Sciences (ESS) at Santa Clara University, a Jesuit, Catholic university, invites applications for a Lecturer (one-year, non-tenure-track) in Environmental Geology. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching the equivalent of 6 courses, where laboratory courses count as 2 course equivalents if the candidate teaches the lecture (1 class) and 2 lab sections. The quarter is 10 weeks long, with an 11th week for final examinations. This position starts September 1, 2026, and requires in-person instruction, though temporary online instruction may be necessary if health situations require it.
