The Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE) and the Department of Physics and Astronomy (PHY) at the University of Maine are currently seeking candidates to fill a joint-appointment lecturer. This ongoing, non-tenure track, academic-year appointment position is anticipated to start on September 1, 2025. We are looking for candidates who have demonstrated clear potential for excellence in teaching and technical communication. Additionally, candidates should have a strong record of scholarly excellence in ECE, PHY, or a closely related field at the graduate level or beyond. Preference may be given to candidates who have actively mentored or advanced women and/or individuals who are underrepresented in the fields of electrical engineering or physics. The position also requires active engagement in professional and university service.
