Lecturer - Civil Engineering
About The Position
The Lecturer of Civil Engineering will develop and deliver online graduate courses in the Sam and Janet Alley Graduate Program in Construction Management at the University of Arkansas. The position will also provide curriculum material, construct syllabi, lead online instruction, write and administer exams, evaluate student performance, and possibly serve as a committee chair for the students' comprehensive exams. This is a remote position. Regular, reliable, and non-disruptive attendance is an essential job duty, as is the ability to create and maintain collegial, harmonious working relationships with others.
Requirements
- Ph.D. in civil engineering or construction management from an accredited institution of higher education
- Evidence of scholarly productivity through service
- Exhibited commitment to teaching excellence
