About The Position
The position is for a part-time, temporary lecturer in Filipino Language at Leeward Community College for the Fall 2024, Spring 2025, and Summer 2025 semesters. This role is non-tenurial and is contingent upon the availability of funds and actual staffing requirements. The lecturer may be required to teach during the day, evening, or on weekends, both on-campus and at off-campus locations such as Leeward CC - Waianae Moku and local area high schools, pending background clearance. The responsibilities include teaching assigned courses, maintaining office hours, preparing course syllabi, and collaborating with other instructors in the discipline area. Instructional assignments may also involve distance education.
