About The Position
Washburn University's Social Work Department invites applications for a Lecturer, BSW Field Education Director to begin April 1, 2025 or as negotiated. This is a nine-month, non-tenure track appointment as a Lecturer. Each selected candidate will have a demonstrated commitment to pursuing teaching excellence at Washburn University, including a dedication to developing inclusive teaching practices that engage students from all backgrounds. The Social Work Department offers a bachelor's degree and a master's degree in social work accredited by the Council on Social Work Education. With small class sizes and individualized academic advising, faculty build relationships with students and mentor them toward success.
