About The Position

The Richard J. Bolte, Sr. School of Business at Mount St. Mary's University invites applications for a full time faculty position beginning August 2026. The position will be filled in one or more of the following areas, based on the needs of the University and the successful candidate's expertise: Accounting, Finance, Management, or Marketing. The position may be filled at the Lecturer, Assistant Professor, or Associate Professor level, depending on the candidate’s education, professional experience, and scholarly record. Requirements

• Ph.D. or a Graduate degree combined with industry experience in Marketing, Management, Finance, or Accounting.
• Demonstrated commitment to teaching excellence.

• Prior university-level teaching experience.
• Professional or industry experience in the field.
• Evidence of scholarly engagement and professional development.

Responsibilities

• Teach 21 credits between the Fall and Spring semesters (24 credits if hired as a Lecturer).
• Participate in school and university-wide committees.
• Advise students majoring in the school's programs.
• Develop course curriculum.
• Participate in assessment.
• Remain current in their discipline.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
