About the position
The University of Virginia School of Law seeks applications to fill one or more lecturer/adjunct faculty positions for the 2024-25 academic year. These lecturer/adjunct faculty positions are part-time, non-tenure-track, and without benefits ("faculty wage"), and they typically involve teaching one upper-level elective course during the fall or spring semester of the academic year. Responsibilities
- Teach one upper-level elective course during the fall or spring semester of the academic year.
- Develop course materials and assessments for the elective course.
- Engage with students and provide academic support as needed.
Requirements
- A J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school, or an equivalent degree from a non-U.S. law school is strongly preferred.
