The Client relationship manager is accountable for proactive customer management, education, guided implementation, growth and retention of Leave of Absence and Disability Cases. This role enables support for FMLA, Disability, PFL/PFML, Company Leaves, States Leaves, ADAAA, Stay at work, Check-cutting and Advice to pay Plan coordination. The manager serves as a consultant to the client leveraging Leave of Absence and Disability integration expertise, and is a high impact leader who understands the culture and goals of clients, making suggestions to enhance their benefit offering in alignment with the HR team. The position requires strong market focus with face-to-face interactions with clients and brokers beyond standard annual meetings, driving relationships in a proactive manner. The manager is responsible for leading client and partner meetings, creating consultative content for the audience in a strategic and clear manner, and effectively delegating action items and expectations with team members to utilize service model capabilities. Through proactive interactions with clients, the manager evaluates and executes on opportunities in the block of business to increase participation, add lines of coverage, and identify areas of opportunity for client education, creating a robust plan to deliver training. Collaboration with the sales team through partnered strategies is essential, as well as crafting and delivering marketing and enrollment strategies to clients based on client interactions and knowledge of Voya's capabilities. The manager develops and executes a comprehensive book of business strategy consistent with organizational initiatives, profitability & persistency targets, segment requirements, Voya's value proposition, and individual customer's needs. Active and consistent connection with brokers and market partners is necessary to gain market knowledge and learn current trends to implement into business strategies and communicate information with team members. The role also involves utilizing and seeking market trend information, competitor data, understanding technology partners and platforms, and the needs of the client to produce creative and effective content to share with clients and brokers, enhancing the Voya story.
