About The Position

Welcome to Love's: At Love's the primary purpose of this position is to administer the company's leave of absence programs. The Leave Administrator performs a variety of tasks that relate to employee benefits with a focus on the tracking and processing of Leave of Absences, which include FMLA, ADA, USERRA.

Requirements

  • HS Diploma or equivalent required
  • Knowledgeable in FMLA, USERRA, HIPAA, ADA, and ERISA
  • Experience with SAP SuccessFactors is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Advise employees and managers on leave programs.
  • Process requests for Leave of Absence according to company policy, as well as adhering to Department of Labor guidelines.
  • Analyze leave claims, determine eligibility, and manage the leave process until return to service or separation of employment.
  • Process and distribute appropriate supporting leave documentation within company and Department of Labor guidelines. This could include but is not limited to Short Term Disability, Long Term Disability, FMLA response packets, FMLA denials, ADA review and USERRA.
  • Manage and maintain the system and related process that tracks leave of absences, premium payments, ADA and FMLA qualifications.
  • Research and provide answers related to various leave related issues.
  • Provide clear communication and timely follow up with employees on leave.
