Requirements

  • Less than 2 years related experience.
  • High school graduate or equivalent.

Nice To Haves

  • Associate degree in Business Administration, Office Information Systems or equivalent, with one to three years of prior office experience, preferably in HR environment is ideal.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills and computer skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • PeopleSoft, SAP, and Origami experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Enter, update, and maintain leave of absence dates, estimated return to work dates, transitional work transfers, notification dates, and claim details.
  • Review for accuracy, issues, or concerns.
  • Optimize systems for better efficiency in processes leaner, improve efficiency of data input, assess programs for improvements and consistency.
  • Work with Leave Administrators, Supervisors, Managers, HR Reps, branch contacts, Crown Medical Clinic and Payroll.
  • Review and update procedures for data integrity and entry processes.
  • Coordinate and support programs in the Department.
  • Document STD, LTD, FMLA, Military Leave and Holiday Pay procedures/processes and review the existing procedures/process to meet the everchanging needs of the department and technology.
  • Perform administrative and related duties to support the Leave Administration Department such as run various reports to track and monitor employees on a leave of absence.
  • Electronically scan, label and file administrative forms and send out leave packets and follow-up on documentation.
  • Assist with various projects.
  • Answer employee, supervisor, and manager questions.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
