About The Position

We are seeking a highly organized and compassionate Leave Admin/ Coordinator to join our Human Resources team. This critical role will manage all aspects of employee leave across multiple states, ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations and delivering a concierge-level experience to our workforce.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in leave administration, preferably in a multi-state environment.
  • Strong knowledge of federal and state leave laws and insurance programs.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and professionalism.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Experience in HRIS systems and leave tracking tools is a plus.

Nice To Haves

  • Must become the subject matter expert in: Paid and unpaid leave programs, Fraud prevention strategies related to leave, State and Federal leave laws and compliance.

Responsibilities

  • Administer and track all leave requests including but not limited to: FMLA, PFL, PLA, Workers' Compensation, Disability, and other State/ Federal paid and unpaid leaves.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for employees navigating leave and insurance processes.
  • Coordinate with insurance carriers and internal departments to ensure timely and accurate processing.
  • Maintain detailed records and ensure compliance with applicable laws and company policies.
  • Provide risk control support related to leave management.
  • Deliver a high-touch, concierge-style service to employees throughout their leave journey.
  • Support and back up other HR functions as needed.
