What were looking for: We are seeking an On-site Leasing Specialist who is personable, empathetic, creative, and driven. This individual will be a self-starter with excellent sales and customer service skills with a proven ability to close leases. This position is highly visible and requires a warm demeanor, collaborative spirit and impeccable follow-through.

Requirements

  • High school or GED required.
  • A minimum of 2 years of market rate leasing experience preferred.
  • Previous sales experience also preferred.
  • Customer-centric with a warm demeanor, positive attitude, and impeccable follow through.
  • Ability to work independently and with a team.
  • Ability to plan and prioritize efficiently and motivate/lead team members.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and complete multiple tasks with simultaneous deadlines/interruptions.
  • Strong written and oral communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of the city; knowledge of the local transportation options to include public and private transportation options.
  • Maintain an organized filing system and office areas.
  • Technically savvy, i.e., smart phones and computers.
  • Computer proficiency included but not limited to Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule based on the property as well as company needs.
  • Ability to work weekends.
  • Regular, dependable attendance and punctuality.

Responsibilities

  • Lease apartments to prospective tenants and maximize revenue by effectively selling the value of our properties.
  • Prospect relentlessly to generate traffic, build a pipeline, and close leases.
  • Develop, execute, and monitor a marketing and social media strategy in partnership with the corporate marketing team and property leadership.
  • Conduct regular market surveys and track effectiveness of current strategies.
  • Listen and understand the market landscape. Share insights and ideas with leadership and corporate partners.
  • Create a memorable and seamless move-in and move-out for our residents in collaboration with the property team.
  • Ensure the property remains in impeccable condition. Conduct annual unit inspections and coordinate maintenance requests.
  • Follow-up with residents to ensure our product and services have exceeded their satisfaction.
  • Provide firsthand knowledge of the local area and our community. Make recommendations about activities, local businesses, and services to ensure residents and guests have positive experience that meets their needs.
  • Assist in planning, coordinating, and promoting resident social events.
  • Be proactive about solving problems, even if its outside of your area and be ready to take on additional initiates and responsibilities as they emerge.
  • Seek out opportunities to be a leader and do everything you can to help the company achieve its larger objectives.
