About The Position
The Leasing Manager position at Friedman Management Company is designed for an energetic individual with exceptional communication and sales skills, who is ready to connect with potential residents seeking a new home. This client-facing role requires the individual to be the face of The Loop on Greenfield Apartments in Oak Park, Michigan, effectively managing the leasing team and ensuring a positive experience for prospective tenants. The Leasing Manager will be responsible for establishing and maintaining business relationships, presenting available apartments in a friendly and knowledgeable manner, and representing the company professionally. In this role, the Leasing Manager will also assist in generating traffic through active participation in the community's marketing strategy and maintaining the community's customer base with an effective resident retention program. The position involves answering phones, greeting potential clients, showing model apartments, fielding general questions regarding rental units and property features, and assisting potential clients in completing rental applications and lease agreements. Miscellaneous clerical duties may also be required as part of the job. Candidates for this position should possess a positive attitude and professional demeanor, with a valid driver's license and the ability to work on Saturdays. Excellent sales and marketing abilities, along with strong communication and organizational skills, are essential. A minimum of three years of leasing or property management experience is required, along with proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and knowledge of Yardi being preferred.
