Avesta Housing is seeking a mission-driven Leasing Manager to lead our leasing efforts and maximize occupancy across our affordable housing portfolio. In this leadership role, you’ll guide and develop a high-performing Leasing Specialist team, oversee leasing operations and compliance, and collaborate closely with property management and internal partners to reduce vacancies and improve systems. You’ll serve as a subject-matter expert in affordable housing leasing, ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, and continuously refine processes to better serve applicants and residents. Excellent keyboard skills and proficiency in major office software applications. Experience with Yardi or similar property management software preferred. Ability to organize and reprioritize work as business needs shift. Superior written and verbal communication skills. Excellent judgment and ability to make sound decisions based on information at hand. Demonstrated ability to work independently with high level of accuracy. Strong critical thinking and problem solving skills.
