We are seeking a Leasing Manager who strongly desires to make our residents feel at home. Ideal candidates are outgoing, have a contagious energy, and are interested in learning the property management business. Our Leasing Managers tour the community with prospective residents and support the overall property operations. Specific responsibilities include assisting the Property Manager in designing and implementing a resident retention program (i.e., newsletter, resident referral program or social activities), responsible for proper maintenance of all resident and property files, attending all required training, including annual Fair Housing and Anti-Harassment training, courteous and efficient handling of resident service requests, and maintaining superior customer service with prospects and residents.

  • Tour the community with prospective residents.
  • Support overall property operations.
  • Assist the Property Manager in designing and implementing a resident retention program.
  • Responsible for proper maintenance of all resident and property files.
  • Attend all required training, including annual Fair Housing and Anti-Harassment training.
  • Handle resident service requests courteously and efficiently.
  • Maintain superior customer service with prospects and residents.
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous sales and customer service experience.
  • A positive attitude.
  • Basic computer skills including familiarity with Microsoft Suite.
  • 2 years' experience as a Leasing Consultant.
  • 4 years’ experience in sales and customer service experience.
  • Display knowledge of lease terms, unit specifications, and all community policies.
  • Achieve Fair Housing certification (within 3 days) before interaction with prospects and residents.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Knowledgeable of required telephone and sales techniques.
  • Technical proficiency to learn new computer software applications.
  • Basic math skills preferred.
  • Yieldstar knowledge preferred.
  • Yardi knowledge preferred.
  • Rent Cafe knowledge preferred.
