Requirements

• Three (3+) years of multi-family leasing experience
• Previous Leasing Manager experience a plus
• Strong leadership, training and mentoring skills
• Demonstrated customer service mindset
• Yardi Voyager, MS Office Word/Excel experience and strong computer technology skills
• Professional demeanor and strong communication and presentation skills

Responsibilities

• Oversee the entire leasing function and daily leasing operations for the community.
• Directly supervise, train and motivate the leasing consultants and help facilitate the successful development of the leasing office.
• Assist the Community Manager in the selection process for all new leasing team members.
• Collaborate with property team to ensure the successful marketing leasing and financial operation of the community.
• Assist the on-site team in marketing all units, determining leasing problems, offering solutions to vacancies and re-marketing the property to current residents.
• Generate new business contacts, marketing ideas, and competitive shops to increase occupancy.
• Participate in all leasing functions for the community, including touring prospective residents, qualifying prospects and preparing lease paperwork.
• Review and approve all lease files, lease renewals, and other leasing and marketing duties as needed to ensure the community meets and maintains leasing and occupancy goals.
