The role is responsible for processing and coordinating a variety of leasing documents and supporting prospects through the application and move-in process.

  • Experience with Leasing/Property Management, preferred
  • Experience working with a CRM platform (Funnel, Yardi, etc.), a plus
  • Experience working with RentCafe, a plus

Responsibilities

  • Process applications and background checks as applications are sent in for prospect tenants.
  • Communicating with the prospect tenant whether they were approved or denied to obtain the apartment, and if denied, the reasons as to why they are unable to move forward.
  • Generate leases and email lease signing information to the future resident.
  • Confirm the future resident(s) has renter's insurance by getting a copy from their insurance company.
  • Once future resident has signed the lease, make sure every page is initialed and all signatures are present, then countersign the lease.
  • Coordinate with new residents, and portfolio managers, a time for the resident(s) to pick up their keys.
  • Meet the new resident(s) and go over their lease, answer any questions, and have them meet their property manager in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Answer the leasing phone line and be able to answer questions about properties within designated portfolio.
  • Maintain internal knowledge base with rentable items such as parking, storage, etc. over properties within designated portfolio.
  • Schedule for any units to have a wipe down with a cleaning vendor prior to the future residents move in date.
  • Drive updating property-specific leasing concessions and fees (such as rentable items) on websites, Yardi, RentCafe, Master Property Spreadsheet, third-party partners, etc.
