About The Position

The Leasing Consultant at Ascent Pineville Community in Charlotte, North Carolina, is responsible for performing various administrative tasks aimed at achieving maximum occupancy with quality residents. This role involves providing tours of apartments, running credit reports, preparing lease packets, and maintaining logs of property traffic, among other functions assigned by the Community Manager.

Requirements

• High school graduation or GED is required.
• Sales, marketing, or public relations personality is required.
• Some advanced real estate training is preferred, including familiarity with Landlord-Tenant and Fair Housing laws.
• Prior experience in a leasing position is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Abide by Fair Housing Laws.
• Provide tours of apartments to prospective residents.
• Run credit reports on prospective residents.
• Prepare lease packets.
• Inspect apartments prior to showing them.
• Maintain logs of traffic through the property.
• Lease units to prospective residents.
• Provide information over the telephone to prospective residents.
• Maintain a visible public relations attitude toward current and prospective residents.
• Assist with rent collection, bank deposits, or other general errands as needed.
• Assist with resident retention activities.
