As a Leasing Consultant, you will play a crucial role in this mission by meeting with prospective residents, identifying their housing needs, and guiding them through the leasing process. In this position, you will interview potential residents to determine their eligibility based on established criteria and showcase vacant and model suites along with property amenities. You will be responsible for quoting established rental rates and promotions, making follow-up calls, and pursuing rental status. Additionally, you will collect funds related to applications, security deposits, and rentals, while managing all internet leads and ensuring proper follow-up. Your role will also involve completing the applicant screening process, preparing leases and related leasing addendums, and maintaining lease records and files. You will support the timely input and full utilization of on-site property management software for leasing data. Ensuring that apartments are ready for occupancy will be part of your responsibilities, which includes inspecting units and placing move-in products. You will distribute keys, move-in packages, and other necessary paperwork at the time of lease signing. To succeed in this role, you will need to maintain current knowledge of marketing and leasing techniques, strive to attain affirmative marketing goals, and seek out new residents through outreach and direct marketing efforts. Providing ongoing customer service to residents after they move in will be essential, as will processing work order requests and assisting with day-to-day operations of the property to ensure resident satisfaction.
