About The Position

Anderson Communities is growing again and seeking full-time Leasing Consultants to join our growing teams in Lexington, KY. You will combine your sales and marketing skills to connect with and build relationships with prospective residents by introducing them to our award-winning apartment communities. Our goal is to provide a pleasant experience for people searching for affordable, high-quality housing and a place to call home. Our Leasing Consultants earn a competitive hourly wage, plus excellent commission opportunities. Our Consultants average $40K-48K+ annually and determine their income potential. Requirements

  • Previous, successful sales experience in any industry
  • Previous commission-based sales preferred
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Must be available to work alternating weekends
  • Proficient in MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word); ability to learn new software
  • Must be drug free and maintain a neat appearance
  • Must be felony free, have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation
  • High School Diploma required; College Degree preferred
  • Hours: Monday - Thursday 9am-6pm; Friday 9am-5pm; Saturday 10am-3pm; Sunday 1pm-4pm
  • Average of 40 hour work week. Consultant working weekend shift will receive a day off during the week.

Responsibilities

  • Maximize property occupancy by generating qualified traffic and networking within the local community
  • Schedule and conduct tours, showcasing options and amenities
  • Process lease agreements and move-in inspections
  • Promote Resident retention and provide excellent customer service
  • Help create and participate in Resident events
