Requirements

Valid Driver’s License
Pre-employment drug test and background screening

Basic computer skills and familiarity with leasing software (e.g., Yardi, Entrata, or similar).
Proven success in customer-focused roles.
Understanding of leasing laws and regulations.
Strong marketing and sales skills.

Exceptional presentation and negotiation skills.

Responsibilities

Greet prospective residents and provide engaging tours of the property.
Respond to inquiries via phone, email, and walk-ins.
Assist with leasing apartments and completing all necessary documentation.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of current availability, pricing, and lease terms.
Build strong relationships with residents to support retention and satisfaction.
Support marketing efforts and participate in resident events.
Ensure the leasing office and model units are clean and welcoming.
Use property management software to manage leads, applications, and communications.
Inspect available “market ready” units and communicate service needs to management.
Describe lease terms including length, rates, and conditions/exclusions.
Provide post-lease services such as drafting termination notices or initiating legal action for unpaid rent.
Verify application information and references.
Prepare lease agreements in accordance with state laws, company policies, and client specifications.
Process background checks, proof of income, rental history, and reference letters.
Update and maintain records in the property management system.
Ensure prompt resolution of tenant maintenance complaints.
