Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 1–2 years of experience in residential property management, leasing, or a related field.
  • Must obtain and maintain any required property-specific certifications (e.g., affordable housing, tax credit, or property management designations).
  • Must be available to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and occasional evenings.
  • Consistent attendance is essential due to staffing needs.
  • May be required to work overtime or be on-call as needed.
  • Occasional travel may be required for training, meetings, or company events.
  • Participation in after-hours resident events may be required.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with affordable housing programs and tenant certifications preferred.
  • Professional accreditations are a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Provide outstanding customer service to prospective residents, current residents, vendors, and community members.
  • Lease apartments by effectively presenting and promoting the property, including apartment features, amenities, and neighborhood benefits.
  • Respond to internet leads, answer phone inquiries, and conduct property tours in accordance with company standards and mystery shop guidelines.
  • Execute sales and marketing strategies to drive traffic, maintain closing ratios, and achieve or exceed occupancy and revenue goals.
  • Maintain comprehensive knowledge of the property and competitive market conditions.
  • Accurately prepare, process, and maintain all lease-related documentation.
  • Track and manage prospect traffic and leasing data using company systems (including OneSite).
  • Ensure guest cards are completed, entered, and followed up on consistently; monitor traffic trends.
  • Inspect apartment homes prior to move-in to ensure readiness and quality standards are met.
  • Assist with planning and hosting resident events and engagement activities.
  • Audit lease files for accuracy and bonus eligibility submission.
  • Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal housing laws, including Fair Housing regulations.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by the Property Manager.
