About The Position

We are seeking a motivated and customer-oriented Leasing Consultant to join our team. As a Leasing Consultant, you will be responsible for showing the property to potential residents, leasing properties to qualified applicants, renew leases with current residents, and ensuring a positive experience throughout the leasing process. This position will report to the Property Manager. This position is a PART-TIME position with hours being between 24-30 hours per week.

Requirements

• Excellent interpersonal skills with good sales and customer service skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
• Detail-oriented and organized.
• Ability to maintain discreet and respect the privacy of residents, vendors, employees, owners and guests.
• Experience with Google, AppFolio, or related software.
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• At least two years of related experience preferred
• Fair Housing training
• Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk, working on a computer, standing, walking, giving tours, and meeting with potential residents.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times.
• Must be able to traverse a variety of properties with stairs and in a variety of weather.
• Must be able to work weekends and/or evenings on a rotating schedule.

Responsibilities

• Greet visitors, prospective, and current residents with a positive attitude.
• Conduct tours of apartments, highlight features, and demonstrate property amenities.
• Effectively sell the benefits of living at the property.
• Report lease violations, assist with resident retention and maintaining curb appeal.
• Tours property daily to ensure it is neat, tidy, attractive and in good repair.
• Provides potential residents with brochures, information and tours of facilities and available units.
• Ensures available and model apartments are fresh and tidy.
• Manages use of shared facilities such as fitness and recreation areas, laundry facilities and meeting or gathering spaces.
