Job purpose The Leasing Consultant (“LC”) fulfills all leasing and customer service needs of the property. Duties and responsibilities The primary responsibilities of the Leasing Consultant will include: Serving as the primary contact for residents and prospective residents Performing all marketing and leasing activities Learning and adhering to Fair Housing laws Applying the property’s Lease Agreement and Rent and Policy Schedule to all transactions. Implementing sales and customer service strategies outlined in the NAP Way training. Touring apartments and community amenities with prospective residents Maintaining targeted occupancy Generating sales leads via internet listings, social media, and community outreach Building and maintaining resident relations Coordinating resident activities Accurate and timely reporting of all daily leasing activity Managing and following up with all resident and lead information through a variety of technological tools including data bases, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft Word Preparing and presenting all lease contracts and related documents Properly opening, closing, and keeping the leasing office stocked to be prepared for visitors. Inspecting leased apartments prior to move-in and reporting potential issues to manager and/or maintenance team Inspecting models, amenities, and tour path daily to identify, correct, and/or report issues Gaining expert area knowledge to include property, floor plans, availability, competitors, surrounding community, and local businesses/attractions Demonstrating company values at all times Completing additional duties or task assigned by manager The ideal candidate must demonstrate: Outstanding customer service and communication skills Highly developed interpersonal skills Self-confidence and poise Positive attitude and outgoing personality Exceptional organizational and multi-tasking skills Strong drive to succeed. Requirements
