About The Position

Your main focus as a leasing consultant here at The Hendry is to lease apartments while achieving the highest effective rent level. Executing leases triggers our competitive commission and bonus structure. Responsibilities

Assist in your community's goal to effectively and efficiently lease the property, while also promoting excellence in resident care and service
Work alongside a team of leasing agents in the office and maintenance technicians, groundskeepers, and a maintenance supervisor on your property, all under the direction of your property/community manager
Show apartments
Provide information to prospects via telephone and personal visits
Accurately quote prices
Follow up on all prospects
Thorough knowledge of the immediate market and all comparable properties
Thorough knowledge of the surrounding community
Ensure all necessary application paperwork is obtained from prospects
Provide superior customer service
Collect money (deposits, rents, etc.)
Prepare and review leases for accuracy
Maintain effective and aggressive lease renewal program
Inspect apartments for readiness
Adherence to and proper implementation of all Fortis Properties Management policies and procedures
Distribute move-in packages
Knowledge of and adherence to Fair Housing policies and procedures
Knowledge of and adherence to ADA policies and procedures
Other duties as needed or required
