About The Position

Pax Properties , an award-winning property management company, is hiring a Full-Time Leasing Agent for Monarch Studio Apartments , a newly renovated multifamily community in Tallahassee, Florida. This role is ideal for someone who is energetic, organized, and driven to lease, lease, lease! Position Details Location: Tallahassee, Florida Community: Monarch Studio Apartments Hours: Full-time, approximately 40 hours per week Compensation: $17–$18/hour (commensurate with experience) Incentives: Monthly leasing bonus paid per lease Reports To: Property Manager
Requirements
- Leasing experience preferred (minimum 1 year with references)
- Strong communication, sales, and negotiation skills
- Customer-service mindset with a friendly, professional demeanor
- Comfortable using MS Office and multiple online platforms
- Ability to work Saturdays (half-day)
Nice To Haves
- Experience with Entrata or other property management software is a plus
- Knowledge of real estate terminology and Tallahassee rental market trends preferred
Responsibilities
- List and update available units on Zillow, Facebook Marketplace, and other leasing platforms
- Respond promptly and professionally to prospective resident inquiries
- Coordinate and conduct property tours
- Assist with lease applications, renewals, and leasing paperwork
- Maintain accurate and organized tenant files
- Encourage and track online and in-person rent payments
- Communicate with the maintenance team regarding work orders and unit readiness
- Ensure vacant units are marketed aggressively and leased quickly
- Follow up on all leads within established response-time standards
