The Leasing Consultant is responsible for coordinating all activities related to apartment rentals, move-ins, move-outs, and lease renewals. This role involves direct interaction with prospective and current residents to achieve maximum occupancy, ensure resident retention, and maintain client satisfaction. Key responsibilities include providing excellent customer service, generating traffic, qualifying prospective residents, leasing apartments, preparing lease documentation, and managing move-in/move-out processes. The consultant also ensures model apartments are in touring condition, processes renewal paperwork, maintains accurate records of traffic activity, and follows up with prospective residents. Additionally, the role involves inspecting apartments, creating confidential resident files, completing weekly leasing reports, assisting with resident relations, shopping competitive properties, inspecting buildings and grounds for safety and cleanliness, processing work order requests, and providing clerical support as needed. The consultant may also assist with planning resident activities and must comply with all company policies and applicable laws.
