The Leasing Consultant is responsible for coordinating all activities related to apartment rentals, move-ins, move-outs, and lease renewals. This role involves direct interaction with prospective and current residents to achieve maximum occupancy, ensure resident retention, and maintain client satisfaction. Key duties include generating and handling traffic, qualifying prospective residents, leasing apartments, preparing lease documentation, and completing move-in processes. The consultant will also ensure model apartments are in touring condition, orient residents to the property, process renewal paperwork, and maintain accurate records of traffic activity. Additionally, the role involves following up with prospective residents, inspecting apartments, creating and maintaining confidential resident files, completing weekly leasing reports, and assisting with ongoing resident relations. The consultant will also shop competitive properties, inspect buildings and grounds for safety and cleanliness, assist with maintenance requests, and provide clerical support to management as needed. They may also assist with planning resident activities to increase retention and must comply with all company policies and applicable laws.
