About The Position
Sandalwood Management is seeking a full-time Leasing Consultant to assist in the leasing office of Tapestry Orem in Houston, TX. The Leasing Professional is the community’s sales representative. The primary duties of the leasing professional are to welcome prospects, understand their needs and wants and to be able to professionally present the features and benefits of the community to properly secure lease agreements from qualified persons. We are looking for someone extremely service oriented; cheerful and articulate, friendly and welcoming, quick to put people at ease, extremely organized and are always looking for opportunities to be proactive with service and quick. They will need to respond to inquiries and requests accurately and timely. Someone confident that enjoys selling a product that they know meets the needs of interested prospects. With a professional demeanor and are neatly and professionally presented at all times. Previous experience in residential leasing or in sales preferred.
Requirements
- 2+ years in Multifamily property management, proven track record of success
- Strong admin and communication skills
- LIHTC experience, required
- File management experience, required
- Ability to work Saturdays
- Valid driver’s license
- Successfully pass pre-employment background check and drug test
Nice To Haves
- Yardi experience, strongly preferred
- Previous experience in residential leasing or in sales preferred.
