This position pays $17 - $18 per hour, based on experience, with opportunities for commissions and bonuses. As a Leasing Consultant, you will be responsible for providing superior customer service, assisting in complete market surveys, showing, leasing, and moving in prospective community members. You will update unit availability daily, process rental applications, handle maintenance requests, and receive collections in accordance with Trinity's standards. Additionally, you will provide clerical and phone support, maintain all community members' files ensuring completeness and accuracy, and manage a calendar of scheduled move-ins. It is essential to ensure all apartments are move-in ready to Trinity's standards and to demonstrate the ability to resolve resident complaints, directing pertinent issues to your Supervisor. You will also conduct community member's move-out unit walks and perform any additional tasks assigned by your Supervisor. This position requires physical demands such as sitting, standing, walking, reaching, and the ability to work at a personal computer and talk on the phone for extended periods. You may occasionally be required to climb and must be available to work extended/flexible hours and weekends as needed. Regular attendance and active participation in company functions and events are also expected. Skills required include excellent customer service, leadership, communication, administrative, organizational, and time management skills, along with a strong sales background and knowledge of fair housing regulations.
