About The Position

The Leasing Agent facilitates the rental of apartment units to ensure maximum occupancy at all times. Coordinates move-ins and move-outs, lease negotiations and renewals, and apartment showings. What You’ll Do: Assist prospective residents with leasing inquiries and property tours Process rental applications and lease agreements. Maintain positive relationships with residents and ensure high customer satisfaction. Collaborate with the property management team to meet leasing goals Market available units through online listings, social media, and community outreach Represents Village Green at various outside networking & social functions Problem-solving skills What We’re Looking For: Strong sales and customer service skills Lease-up experience Excellent communication and organizational abilities Ability to work independently and in a team environment Previous leasing or real estate experience is preferred but not required Proficiency in property management software is a plus This is a fast-paced professional environment where each day will be different. Requirements

  • Strong sales and customer service skills
  • Lease-up experience
  • Excellent communication and organizational abilities
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Two years of leasing experience with multi-family, Lease-up Experience preferred.
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite, additional property management software (Yardi / One Site / MRI / Sight Plan) is highly desired.
  • Ability to provide exceptional customer service to address the needs of current and future residents in a friendly and professional manner.
  • High level of professionalism in both manner and dress
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous leasing or real estate experience is preferred but not required
  • Proficiency in property management software is a plus
