About The Position

The Leasing Consultant at Hancock Terrace Apartments is responsible for providing exceptional customer service and support to potential and current residents in a vibrant multi-family community. This role involves showcasing the property, assisting with the leasing process, and maintaining positive relationships with residents while ensuring the community's operational needs are met.

Requirements

• Minimum of two (2) years in a hospitality, sales, customer service and/or marketing environment.
• Detail-oriented and organized with the ability to interact effectively with renters, residents, peers, and management.
• Computer literate in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Experience with Yardi Voyager or other property management software is a plus.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to comprehend, apply, and comply with all state and fair housing laws, company policies, and business procedures.
• A clear DMV record, valid driver's license, and proof of vehicle insurance.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in property management.
• Knowledge of Fair Housing regulations.

Responsibilities

• Professionally presenting the community while demonstrating amenities and features.
• Performing administrative duties such as answering phones, responding to emails, and maintaining files and records.
• Assisting with the leasing process, including showing available units to prospective residents, processing rental applications, and preparing lease agreements.
• Inspecting market-ready units to ensure cleanliness.
• Assisting in planning, preparation, and implementation of community activities and events.
• Participating in after-hours emergency on-call rotation.
• Managing accounts receivables/payables.
• Keeping track of lease expirations and renewal notices.
• Shopping competition in the preparation of advertising needs, as needed.
