About The Position

The Marketing Representative is responsible for coordinating the community’s marketing, leasing, and renewal strategies to achieve occupancy, revenue, and resident retention goals by performing all activities related to leasing to new residents, providing resident satisfaction throughout the term of the lease, and securing resident lease renewals.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED equivalent is required.
• Employment history that demonstrates the application and usage of a sales, marketing, internet and customer service background.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively.
• Mathematical skills necessary to complete financial records and reports.
• Proficiency in word processing, property management applications (preferably Yardi), and spreadsheet management programs.
• Current valid driver's license is required.

Responsibilities

• Perform all sales and leasing activities in person to achieve the property's revenue and occupancy goals.
• Inspect apartments prior to resident move-in and ensure apartments are in move-in ready condition.
• Stay informed about current market and competitor conditions that may impact the community's occupancy and sales results.
• Design and execute offsite marketing activities to create and drive traffic to the property.
• Use the on-site property management software application to track apartment availability and manage resident and prospect data.
• Ensure that the property and show units meet the Company's standards for show quality.
• Follow-up with prospects and new residents to ensure satisfaction.
• Execute and perform activities in support of the property's lease renewal program.
• Respond quickly and courteously to resident and client/owner concerns and questions.
• Complete various accounting, financial, administrative, and other reports.
