FAM Residential is seeking a polished, service-driven Leasing Agent / Resident Concierge to join our Los Angeles community. This dual-function role combines proactive leasing and sales responsibilities with high-touch resident services, ensuring an exceptional experience at every stage of the resident lifecycle — from first inquiry to long-term renewal. The ideal candidate brings a consultative sales approach, genuine hospitality instincts, and the organizational discipline to manage a fast-paced, detail-oriented environment. Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Hospitality, or a related field preferred.
  • Multifamily leasing, property management, or residential real estate experience.
  • Strong knowledge of Fair Housing regulations; certification required within 30 days of hire.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a professional, polished demeanor.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Yardi Voyager or a comparable property management system.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish strongly preferred.

  • Front desk, concierge, or hotel guest services background.
  • NALP (National Apartment Leasing Professional) certification.
  • Experience with package tracking or visitor management systems.
  • Familiarity with social media platforms and online marketing tools.

Responsibilities

  • Greet prospective residents and conduct professional, engaging property tours that highlight community features and available units.
  • Present floor plans, pricing, lease terms, and amenities to align prospects with suitable homes.
  • Apply consultative sales techniques to understand prospect needs, address objections, and close leases.
  • Conduct consistent follow-up via phone, email, and text to nurture leads and drive conversions.
  • Meet individual leasing targets and contribute to overall property occupancy and revenue goals.
  • Maintain current knowledge of unit availability, pricing, promotions, and competitive market conditions.
  • Process rental applications in full compliance with Fair Housing regulations and company policies.
  • Conduct prospect screening, including credit checks, background verification, and rental history review.
  • Prepare lease documents and addenda; accurately collect and document required move-in funds.
  • Coordinate move-in orientations to ensure smooth resident transitions and positive first impressions.
  • Complete unit inspections with incoming residents, document condition, and review community policies.
  • Maintain complete, accurate, and properly filed move-in documentation.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for resident inquiries, requests, and service needs during office hours.
  • Respond to phone, email, and in-person inquiries promptly and professionally.
  • Manage package deliveries with organized tracking systems and timely resident notifications.
  • Monitor visitor access, maintain visitor logs, and support community safety protocols.
  • Provide information on community amenities, local services, and area resources.
  • Assist residents with amenity reservations, lockouts, and general community questions.
  • Cultivate positive resident relationships through proactive communication and attentive service.
  • Support lease renewal efforts by maintaining strong resident relationships and addressing concerns promptly.
  • Coordinate and assist with resident events, community engagement activities, and appreciation initiatives.
  • Handle resident concerns with professionalism and empathy while upholding community standards.
  • Track service requests and ensure timely follow-up and resolution.
  • Contribute to online reputation management by encouraging reviews and responding to feedback professionally.
  • Maintain online listings with accurate, current, and compelling information.
  • Support marketing initiatives including social media content, promotional campaigns, and community outreach.
  • Ensure model units, the leasing office, and common areas are maintained in showcase condition.
  • Maintain accurate records in the property management system and prepare reports as requested.
  • Process resident payments and assist with basic accounting functions as directed.
  • Manage filing systems, office supplies, and front desk presentation to a high standard.
